PC100, Unbuffered, 2-2-2 latency timings.

"U" probably means nothing as an industry term, just to the
maker of the modules. To them "U" might be Ultra or
something like that to denote that it's the 222 timing
module opposed to a slower 322 or 333, etc. Your system
should run find from the typical PC100 222 modules providing
they're decent... with generics all bets are off.

Kony - I would have thought with it being an eMachine all bets were off! ;o)

It'll work till smoke pours out of the power supply?
emachine boards themselves aren't much trouble from what
I've seen & gather, just not enthusiast level by any stretch
due to integration.

Cuzman may be right that "U" means unbuffered, though most
replacement modules I've seen do not use a "U" on PC100
parts, it's pretty much implied to be unbuffered unless
stated otherwise.
