PC won't shut off now

Since I installed the Spyware beta, my PC will not shut
off...it says "system shutting down", you hear the click,
but it stays on and the msg stays on the screen. You
either have to unplug the PC or do a "control, alt and
push in the "on" button and hold until it really shuts
down.

Has anyone else had this problem?
 
Not only will my PC not shut off, but netzero wont start
unless I power down and restart. Have you figured
anything out with this?
