I'm not sure where to post this...hopefully somebody can
help...I installed Windows 2000 professional on a pc
designed for Windows 98...no problem until recently when
the machine froze up...the only way to turn it off was
unplugging it from the power pack...now it won't come back
on at all...I've unhooked and reattached all the cords and
still nothing...there used to be two buttons light up on
the CPU when I turned it on...now only one lights up, the
monitor says no signal is reaching it...I think it has
something to do with the sleep or hibernate mode but I
can't get the computer back on to do anything with the
power management mode. Any suggestions other than throw
it from a window??
