I have a PC box w/Win-XP Prof. on a AMD 3000+. The System simply will not
allow the box to power off. Before XP was loaded it was able to Pwr Off.
Now if I selct Turn-off-machine" for Start. the systems will hibernate for
a while, appear to be off, but will turn itself back on again.
The reset and power buttons on the case itself have the same result.
the only way to Power off is to unplug it from the pwr supply.
All standard config's for windows are using the default settings and the
power saving mode is turned off or unassigned to active functions. It's not
something as general as that... and already FLASHED bios...
