Not the best, but you'll be alright to go on for now. :)

If you can stretch this far then this will do you proud!

how come? I have read elswhere that it is a def no-no to buy used ram but cpu should be fine if it has used for a short period of time am i wrong?

I would only use a "PC Suppier" who can give me an RMA if anything goes wrong ... their is no such thing as a "cheap" computer ... you pays your money, you takes your choice.

Quote ... "well it was working when I had it, what you want me to do ... tuff" un-quote.

ok buti dont have the money to bull all of the parts brand new i will maybe look into getting a second hand part off of a known retailer(is that still a bad idea?) also if the item comes with manufacturers warrantee if the item comes faulty they can repair it right?Only if the seller is being a right arse-hole and denies that the item was never working. Also what retailers do you reccomend for buying parts @. I would like a retailer with good customer support and good prices

thanks

avoid buying secondhand parts unless as previously stated you get a decent warranty

the 3700 is a good choice :thumb:

the MB has a good spec so should keep you going for a while

a 6600GT is probably the best graphics card for the money one of those will give decent performance and not cost too much

Geil, Corsair, Crucial, OCZ all make decent RAM, i would go for the Geil Value, its cheapish but has a low CAS latency and gives good performance

for what you want to upgrade your looking at about £450
