Sorry to report that this new version seems to be even worse than the prior.
After installing it, all Internet/network traffic was completely blocked
even after turning it off. Under adaptors, it didn't detect my main (wired)
adaptor at all. It did show a wireless adaptor I happened to have plugged
into a USB port, but am not currently using. Fortunately, after
uninstalling it everything worked normally. (The prior version at least
partially worked but ignored custom rules and blocked a PPTP VPN
connection.)
I think at this point, I'm giving up on PC Tools and will wait and see what
other free Vista compatible firewalls emerge.
