Pc Switching Itself On!!!

Hello,

I have a PC which is switching itself on at night when the PC isnt
being used. I have made sure I power down correctly and also make sure
all the lights on the PC are off but it is still switching itself on
at night. Has anyone herd about this at all? Please let me know,

Couple of places to look. The BIOS for "Wake on LAN" or "Wake on ring",
in Task scheduler for Tasks set to "Wake the computer for this task".
 
My BIOS has options to fire up at a certain time of the day everyday.
Perhaps yours does too....
Good for some things; booting up every morning just as your alarm
clock goes off, assuming you shut it down at night.
Also good for scaring the hell out of you at night depending on your
system sounds....
