Here is the situation: One of our computers at home has 4 users, each of
which is registered as an administrator. (My wife and I, and our two kids.)

My question is this: when I am logged on and run software like Spybot,
Ad-Aware, Registry Mechanic, etc., will the entire computer be scanned, or do
the other users have to log on and do their own scans?

My reply is at the bottom of your message :

You was already answered this request . Me , David and Ivor told you
different things . No , you won't be able to scan all things .But the most
important will be scanned so there is no need to worry . When you perform
scans from your account you'll clean the files and if there is an infection
then you can open their accounts and scan/clean their Windows Registry but if
you kill malware file the registry won't load it so no problem
