Does this website ever have regional meets or a yearly National Meet? Some of the car websites i use we usually meet up at a bar for some dinner and a chat. It's good fun!
 
Hi Andy, there has been talk about it (and a poll a few weeks ago) - I'm quite glad you reminded me about it as I'll need to start organising something soon :)

Mr Ian has tried on more than one occasion to get us all together, and some of us have met one or another member, but not as a clan.

Difficult getting everybody to take a "holiday" on the same weekend ... :D

Why not an on-line conference thing with web cams and suchlike .

reckon I'd buy myself a web cam for that.
Wish i could actually get up there for real though :nod:
John's hoping that we might be able to save enough to get up there next year,
But since I'm hoping to go back to Varsity next year if I can get the kids sorted.
Then, really the only significant chunck of time I'd have off (even if we can save the money) would be over the Christmas/summer break.
Probably not the best time to go visiting the top of the planet :rolleyes:
 
Plenty of room up here in gods garden for a tent if you do make it . An theres nowt lile a snow topped Langdales in 'hole wide wurld .

Yeah it seems we all have a problem with money :(

I myself included maybe I should start selling my body instead? lol
I dunno the things people do for their first child huh :D
 
Was thinking about that the other day actually, wondering how your bub's coming on?
& how your doing with all the preperations & general excitement & terror?
Can't be too long now...?

I'll try and remember. Have a good friend who's is the 3rd, mine is 30th and hers is 27th July so should be easy but dont quote me lol ;)

Strange...all major events seem to happen pre and post to my birthday...never on the 5th itself.
