PC Problem

I have reposted here but I still have the problem with my screen going blank, even though I have checked all my connections.

My system Spec is:
AMD Athlon 3000+
1GB DDR PC3200 RAM
120GB HDD
ATI Radeon X1600 Pro 512MB
 
I cannot find the other link m8 does it have a better explanation of what going on or is it the same as this?

Is there power to the monitor?

Do you have a steady (not flashing) green or amber light on the front?

Do you get a display of your desktop before it goes blank or is it blank as you boot?

Have you checked fuse, made sure no pins are bent or snapped within D-sub connector.

Has your GFX card become unseated on motherboard?

What GFX card do you have?

Have you ben ajusting viewing properties? Sometimes playing with Dual monitor settings can stop display.
