PC Probe - Problems Switching Users in XP

When I'm using PC Probe (v2.23.06) on my computer (ASUS P4PE "Black
Pearl", 1GB Ram, P4 2.4Ghz, XP Home), everything seems to be running
just fine. If I play a memory intensive game, the temperature will go
up a little and all seems normal. If I log off of my user and log in
under another name (limited rights or full rights - doesn't matter),
everything continues to register just fine with PC Probe. However, the
problem comes when I switch users WITHOUT logging off. In other words,
I'm still logged in and then switch users while still logged in ...
then things go out of whack. PC Probe will begin to beep at me stating
that the voltage has dropped, fans have stopped and I watch the
temperature spike. What could be causing this? Why would it do that?
What can I do to remedy this? Any thoughts or insight on the matter
would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Likely you are running two instances of Asus Probe in this situation (if
both users have Probe set to start automatically). The I2C bus that Asus
Probe uses doesn't deal well with multiple programs trying to access it,
it tends to cause corrupted readings.
