I have a home PC with windows xp operating system. My PC
recently had an attack of MS-Blast virus to which I had
taken steps to eliminate it as mentioned in your site. But
now I have a problem that there are multiple startup of
the svchost.exe process which consumes a lot of cpu memory
as a result of which a lot of drivers get inactivated eg.
i am not able to connect to the internet through an ISP
provider, sound device drivers get disabled etc. . To
solve it either I need to shutdown my pc and again restart
it or else I have to go to the task manager and end the
svchost.exe process which consumes the maximum memory.
what could be the problem and how do i get over this
problem? Please suggest.
