pc not booting

I installed it and used y'day to change IE settings
(mainly search page). Today my pc is not booting, it says
c:\windows\system32\config\system file is corrupt.

Any help on this?

1- Start your PC in safe mode:

2-Try to start system restore:

3- If 1 and 2 doesnt work, system restore from command promt:

4- If above doesnt work.

5- Follow this after repair:
