I upgraded my laptop to Vista from XP about six months ago. I previously had
installed a software program from Verizon (PC Monitor) while using XP. Once
I installed Vista it was no longer compatible. I have now uninstalled the
earlier XP version and downloaded and installed the Vista compatible version.
I get an error message that PC Monitor cannot load information for all my
users and to re-log in as administrator or the original user. Have tried
logging on as administrator and it still gives the same error message. My
laptop manufacturer says it's a problem with Vista and the registry and that
maybe Microsoft has a workaround, but they won't touch it.
Anyone have an idea how to fix this?
