I have a laptop that works fine as long as it is on the
network. When it's not and the user logs on the desktop
comes up completely blank and the PC locks ups so bad that
I have to take the battery out to power it down. This
problems occurs in the docking station or out of it as
long as a network line is not connected. For some reason
it only does this when I log in under his username. If I
use my own or anyone else's it doesn't do this. I looked
for anything he might have installed that might be
expecting a network drive to exist but I didn't see
anything. I made sure there was nothing in his startup
group and I used msconfig and found nothing odd there.
Does anyone have any idea what I should check next? Also,
if you would reply by Email I would appreciate it.
