Hello every one, I have a problem with my pc it keeps crashing and going on to a blue screen, someone suggested it might be the mother board. With this advise i replaced the mother board, CPU and the processer, I have also formatted and partitioned the hard drive. Now when trying to reinstall widows XP home or 2000 professional the following error message appears:

STOP: 0x00000024 (0x001902FA,0professional3AF4,0xFAFC37F4,0xFA7B2265)

ntfs.sys - Address FA7B2265 base at FA774000, DateStamp 3d6de5c1

I was told to change the hard drive and was wondering if this is the case, also if at all possible i would like to know what the above error message means! Please can anyone help me to rectify my pc i would be most grateful.

ps. Im not a pc genius so can you please reply in some kind of dummy guide language so i can understand your reply.

Many thanks for taking the time to read my thread and will be most grateful for all replies.
