Control Panel>Power applet - change the power settings there. Some laptops
also have additional software to manage the power, like Dells and Sonys.
Look in Control Panel and your Start Menu to see if there is specialized
power management software put there by the laptop mftr. Refer to your
laptop manual for details or look on the laptop mftr.'s website if you
don't have a paper manual.
