PC-DL Deluxe SATA Raid

hi,
I'm having a problem with my PC-DL Deluxe motherboard boot up after i
installed the highpoint rocketraid 404 card. I want the system to boot
to my onboard Promise SATA Raid. I get pass the BIOS check and the
system check but unable to load to O/S. Just hang with a flashing
cursor. But when I remove the rocketraid card from the system will
boot up to the O/S. Any Suggestion?

I'm not sure it's possible to choose between the "external" cards... By
installing the additional controller, you may be changing the boot order /
possible boot devices.

What boot loader and OS?

Sounds like the device it's expecting to boot from has moved.

Depending on when it hangs with a cursor... you may or may not be booting
off of the drive yu think you are. Either way you've affected the logical
location of drives.
