Ok.

I am using an inventel usb2 wireless adapter. originally in windows xp on sp2 now on sp1.

when i connected to the net my pc would instantly crash.

dont think its the heatsink etc as pc will run photoshop for 3 hours easy but crash the minute i connect my adapter and go online.

did it in xp with service pack 2 so i did a 100% clean install of xp and it still does it!!

error message:

bccode: d1
BCP1: A33FFC88
BCP2: 00000002
BCP3: 00000000
BCP4: EEF02D98
OSVer: 5_1_2600
SP: 0_0
Product 768_1

i am no expert on pcs but know my way around.

i am assuming its driver related and something to do with my wireless adapter, but the same adapter worked on wanadoo for a year, i switched to sky, bought a WG111T adapter, tried this, it crashed pc.

tried Inventel again, still crashed.

reformatted.

tried inventel with drivers from wanadoo. crashes :(

help please
