TM PC Cillin wont load onto build 5472, I keep getting a message that it
cannot install one of its required components, what do I do?

What do you mean "what do I do?" You find another app that IS Vista
compatible like free Avast or something and wait until your desired virus
app becomes compatible.

The PC Cillin beta works fine for me. However, i have to say i'm not all
that keen on PC Cillin. As dotcom suggests maybe you should change to Avast
or try AVG anti virus. I have had problems with AVG on my system, but other
users say it works fine for them.

Avast works great for me. Interface is a little weird, but overall I'm happy
with it.

I had to list some of the executibles in AVG as exceptions in the Firewall
Setup to avoid error messages.

TM PCCilln worked for me until a few weeks ago and I keep getting update
problems.

I worked with AVG and it worked... but didn't want to pay $$$ until I know I
have a good OS.

So, I'm back to AVAST and I must say it's using less memeory once it settles
down. I beleive the recovery generator did it's thing and now uses less
memory than all the other products.... I've tried them all.

Hey B,
You are correct... if I understand the free one takes the back seat to
updating...
I really want to know I have the latest virus defs.

You didn't use the free version?

Mine updates almost every day. My only complaint is going thru the
permissions. Avast still seems best.
