Hi

does anyone have any experience with pc-cillin anti-virus and firewall
in the latest pc-cillin internet security product?

Is it a reasonable firewall, better than WinXP in-built firewall? What
advantage would there be in paying extra money to get Nod32 anti-virus
and kerio firewall?

Yes.

Like the XP firewall,it blocks inbound connections that aren't
specifically authorized. Unlike the XP firewall (I believe), it employs
stateful packet inspection. And in "High Security" it will block
unauthorized outbound protocols and port traffic. It is not, however, an
application based firewall.

Well, Kerio 2.1.5 is free. It's, IMHO, the best freeware firewall I've used.

I think that both NOD32 and PC-cillin are excellent AV products.
