PC Chips Socket A M811 Help Please

Recently i purchased a new case. After moving all of my hardware into the new case and booting with no problems i go into itunes, the song appears to be playing but i get no sound from my speakers. ive been messing with the drivers for quite some time now and it doesnt seem to be helping. Device Manager says everything is working properly. Any advice will be helpful, thanks
 
I once spent 20mins trying to fix such a 'problem' only to find I had not plugged in the speakers ... have you? and are they in the right socket, it's green.

Have you run the driver disc Version 2.5vi ? If so re-install by doing this> go to device manager uninstall sound drivers> reboot the PC> then re-install with the disc >thus insert in the drive and run Auto set up? reboot with the sound turned up and as long as the cable is correct Green It will work.;)
 
i received the Version 2.0vi disc with my motherboard. im not sure where to get 2.5. i looked on pcchips.com and found nothing. i tried to install the drivers they recommened and that still did not work. where can i get 2.5?
 
I tried everything here. I had already found that exact driver and still nothing. i must have shocked it when i moved it from the old case. ****ty
