Hello -

I'm posting my problem here after nearly an hour of googling without
much success :-| Maybe this problem is well know, and if so, please
don't flame me, I couldn't find something about it ;-)

I have also put a picture of the problem here:
http://organizational.typepad.com/files/Picture1.png

In details, it only happens in slide show mode. When I have something
in the background other than a white background, I still have a really
fine line of white space along all the left side of the screen, as well
as along the bottom side of it. Approx. 1mm wide. I've tried everything
and several kind of design, background, etc... but it's always there.

The only clue I have is that, when I'm putting a picture that is much
bigger than the slide itself and put the presentation in mode show, I
don't have the white lines.

This makes me think that, somehow, the background picture may be
misaligned with the slide itself during the operation of putting it in
"show mode".

If someone could help me with this problem, he will have my eternal
gratitude :-)

Many thanks - Julien

Nah, we don't do that here. Ran out of matches and propane years ago.

And it *was* worth a thousand words ... thanks.

OK, no flames, but permit a small spark? We have questions here regarding
PowerPoint versions 97 through 2003, sometimes Mac folk fall down the wrong
chute and land here, and now PowerPoint 2007 beta plus soon enough the real
2007 release. It's always good to mention which you use.

Seems a sure thing that it's 2007, but beta or ForReal? If beta, I think this
is something that was a known problem and is probably fixed in the release
version.
The only clue I have is that, when I'm putting a picture that is much
bigger than the slide itself and put the presentation in mode show, I
don't have the white lines.

Given that, if you need a workaround while using the beta, you could put a
larger picture, or perhaps just a black rectangle on each slide's b/g or on the
master background; would that solve the problem?
