Hi,
I've recently received advice to drop FrontPage and to take up Dreamweaver,
since I won't be able to design a decent pay-package for my website on
FrontPage. Is there truth in this? Am I wasting my time with FP?
By the way, is there anywhere I can search for/advertise for an amateur
designer to design a pay-package?
Thanks

The advise is nonsense
FP & DW are just Tools
- what you can do with them depends on your skills w/ the tools and what your server supports

In my opinion, you can build any web application with FrontPage, or
with Dreamweaver. They are both tools, your skillset in using them
determines what can, or can't, be done.

That's what I thought, and frankly I was a bit offended at the advice. I know
my skills are lacking, but that's no reason for putting me off like that.
Thanks for the replies.

Not sure what you mean exactly by "pay package" but if it involves
collecting money and personal information, and you are a newbie at webdesign
and not familiar with security issues that will come up; either have someone
who is design it for you or look for a pre-packaged solution.
