Better art than some of that cr*p that ends up at the Tate Modern.....:rolleyes:

Thanks for the thread Rush:thumb: Is art not all about what one person see's. These paintings are very good and shows the talents off of an exceptional artist at work, modern art is all about capturing a moment for ever.
 
Very true murdoch, and some at the Tate are good - just don't see the merit in an unmade bed, or a binbag full of rubbish :rolleyes:

It's all to do with what one person thinks is art or one famous thinks something is art then people follow, was it not Charles Saatchi art work, who the cleaning lady cleared up because it looked a mess. Now that lady should of got a medal:D

i've seen street artists paint over pieces of discarded chewing gum, but never anything like this.

Or it could be the fact that the artist is taking advantage of the dumbass people in society who think that they know what the artist is "really" trying to say and standing there all thoughtful :confused: looking at an open bag of rubbish, when the artist is in the background thinking "What a silly bunch of barstewards" :D while there counting there money.
I produce better modern art every morning while I'm sat on the loo.

I have a picture on my wall of a nice picture of an aerial view of were i used to live, it's not a great picture but it means a lot to me. As for modern art if you like it it does not mean someone else will.

As for your "art work" in the morning mudfrog, there is already a bloke who has taken pictures of different turds and put them in a book:eek: honestly, will try to find the link if i can for you!:D

I might pass on the 'turd art' & most modern art just leaves me cold I'm afraid. But that guy is an artist. However temporary his works might be they are still works of art :)
I saw some work of another guy who does stuff very like that, I'll have a go & see if I can find the link later on but it may be a week sorry. I'm really stealing comp time right now. Should be cleaning in prearation for John's mum's imminent arrival. Norty girl me :D
