Hi guys,
advice please I need a HDD patitioning program, any ideas as to the a
reasonably uncomplicated one. Thanks for your help

Well if you are going to be doing a new install of XP,
you can partition the drive how you like during the initial install.

Same with Linux.

with win9x, just use fdisk


now...if your drive has already been partitioned
but you wish to re-partition non-destructively...then you'll need a 3rd
party utility such as Partition Magic

Windows XP's CD allows you during setup to partition your harddrive any way
you want. If you're feeling lucky, you can try the software program
Partition Magic. It works intermitently.
