path variables

I tried changing the path variables in my computer so I
could use java sdk 1.4.2 _ 01, but it still doesn't work.
Does anybody knows how to make java enable to any folder?
or how to set the environment variables correctly?

Try here:

Right click My Computer>Properties>Advanced tab - 'Environment Variables'.
