Patches/updates!

Hi Guys,
I've been getting emails from Microsoft with updates or
patches attached, Is this normal practice?? I've deleted
them in case they may have some kind of a virus with
them, you really never know these day's, please could you
advise, thanks.

Hi Jane,

Those are viruses, you did well to delete them.
Those are not from Microsoft. They're imitations.
Microsoft never sends out patches as attachments.

You can find out even more information in the virus
security newsgroups on this Microsoft newserver. :-)
