Patches installed

I know I can use msba and windows update service to ck for lastest
patches on a w2k server. besides those two methods, what would be a
way to walk up to a server and see what patches are installed?
 
You can run netdiag on the computer if the support tools are installed,
though that can take a couple of minutes or look in Control Panel/Add and
Remove Programs. --- Steve
 
nice program, but I'm doing an audit on customer systems and can only
use whats on box now. thanks
