patches and newsgroups

To find available IE 5.5 patches you can go to http://www.microsoft.com and
click on Windows Update. Run the scan, you may need to install an applet,
and then browse through the list of patches to see which ones you wish to
install.

Newsgroups may be found at http://www.microsoft.com/communities. Click on
Newsgroups and then navigate through the menu. I did the following:

English \ United States \ Windows \ Windows \ Internet Explorer \

From there you can pick between Add-Ons, General, Setup, etc.
