Patch Distribution with Logon Scripts

Hello,

I am trying to get an idea of how successful one can be
using login scripts to deploy Microsoft Patches (i.e.
security updates to Internet Explorer). IS anybody using
this? Have you had any problems? What about 128k or 256k
frame relay links?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There's another solution called Software Update Services. It allows you to
automatically download and install the updates to all or selected computers.
The clients' settings are controlled with group policy.

Howdy!

Check out www.sysinternals.com for windows 2k PSTOOLKIT

They have a great tool called PSexec.exe that allows you to copy and run
the patch to domained machines with domain admin privledges.
