What is the lowest cost, good quality PATA controller with 48 bit
addressing and digitally signed XP drivers? I am having problems with
my SIIG ATA133 (hardware version one) controller. I think it is because
it does not have digitally signed XP drivers. Thank you in advance for
all replies.

The signatures on XP drivers do not have an impact on
functionality, they only mean that some indecent sum of
money was paid to MS to sign the driver.

Other than that, I have made good experiences with
Promise 100/133TX2, although I have heard that people
have had problems with attaching CDROMs to it (which I
never tried).
