Pasting UNC paths in Outlook

I am going crazy. I have been trying to paste a server UNC path into Outlook
but the link to the location gets broken when a space appears in the path
name. In this example, \\Server\folder\folder in a folder the link is blue
for the \\server\folder\folder then turns black as soon as it sees a space
between the words "folder" and "in". Of course when you click on the link,
it fails because the link is not complete.

I have placed quotes around the path name then pasted it into Outlook, used
file:///, changed Outlook from HTML to RTF but nothing works. Does anyone
know how to solve this issue?

If you have any spaces in the path, it breaks the link. I always use folder
or filenames that are short with no spaces or use and underline ( _ ) in the
name.

Thanks for the reply but I still need to find a solution. This is a mature
network and with over 5,000 folders and almost 1,000,000 files, remaning is
not an option.

Just a suggestion but why not just create a html page with all the url paths
in as you want then attach as a file attachment in Outlook. Something like
Contents page, Then users just open the file up and click on the hyperlinks
in the html file to go straight to the folder etc

Or rather than use the unc path can you use the full network path instead ?

Just a thought,

Cheers
