Pasting text into a page

I purchased a template from a company and I have no problems copying and
pasting a picture into a given area but when I try to paste any text to given
box/zone on a page, it creates an overlay on the page and pastes it over the
entire page. What am I doing wrong.

Hi UmpRef,

This is a guess on my part..but I am thinking that when you are copying the
text..you are picking up more than the text itself (things like tables,
divs, etc,) Try first copying the text into notepad..and then from notepad
into your page template.
