Is it posible to past the same contents to more than on cell?
I would like to paste(or enter) the same word in all cells in on
coulmn, for example I have a column for Telephone Area Code and I woul
like all area codes to be 905, of course I don't want to have to past
everyone of the 2500 cells individually.

thanks

Do you want to ADD the 905 in front of existing data?

i.e. you have 245-1234 in a cell and want (905)245-1234

Assuming telephone numbers are in Column A

In column B at B1 enter ="(905)" & A1

Double-click on the fill handle of B1 to copy down to bottom of
data in column A

When happy with results, copy column B and Paste Special(in place)>Values.

Delete original column A.
