pasting images and controlling the rest of the slide

Hello,

When I paste an image into my presentation the text and other images already
on the screen shift or shrink in size. I know there's a way to prevent this
but I can't find the command to do it. I use PPT 2002, Win XP.

Rich,

Have a look in
"tools" menu
"auto correct"

then turn off the "automatic layout for inserted objects"

you may also wish to turn off the other 3 "autofit" options above

Tools | Autocorrect Options... | Remove check mark from 'Automatic Layout for
inserted objects.'
