I am working on making a Users Manual for a database. I
would like to show small versions of forms and reports in
the manual. These would not be for use in Word, but would
just be to show what the objects will look like in the
database. Is there a way to 'cut and paste' a form or
report from Access 2000 into Word (or any other word
processor)?

Thanks in advance!!

Alt-PrtScrn or just PrtScrn will copy to the Windows Clipboard. You can
then paste it into your Word Doc.

However, having done this a time or two, I'm going to suggest that you might
not be really satisfied with the results. Take a look at a product called
SnagIt http://www.techsmith.com/. It is a great screen capture tool which
allows you capture the entire screen, specific window or area, will allow
you to capture open combo boxes and menus, and will also show the mouse
pointer in captures.

They have a fully functional 30-day demo that can be downloaded.
