Pasting Data fro SQL 2005

I pasted some data from a SQL 2005 database into an Excel Spreadsheet.

After about a minute the spreadsheet froze with a dialog box appearing
"Microsoft Excel is waiting for another application to complete an OLE action"

Nothig can be done to end this except kill the Excel process. Clicking K on
the dialog box leaves the application frozen and the dialog reappears after
20~30 seconds.

When the application is killed there is also no autorecover info saved.

I get the same type of thing a lot in the Office 2007 beta 2. I get a mesasge
saying Excel is waiting for an application to compleet a OLE action and the
application never does complete it.

So you have to kill Excel and then all you data to that point is lost, non
recoverable.
