I'm using Access 2002 and Excel 97. With this new
version, whenever I copy data from Access and paste into
Excel, Excel recognizes the numbers as text. So I can't
do formulas, sort, etc. To fix this, I have to create a
formula to convince Excel it's a number (for example,
=A2+0, then this new field allows me to do formulas, sort,
etc, while the A2 cell wouldn't allow me to do that.
Any idea how to make a clean copy from Access to Excel
where Excel recognizes the data as being a number? Any
help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
