Hi all

The Paste (clipboard paste) function stops working in Word 2007.

Each time I am forced to close and reopen my Word document.

Copy-Paste works at the OS (Vista Pro) level (I tested it with Notepad).

Any hints?

This is a bit inconvenient...

Thanks...

And BTW also Office Help Online does not work anymore (it says the my
cookies are disabled, while I am sure that cookies are enabled).

?

Are you trying to right click paste, using the feature on the ribbon, or
keyboard shortcut?

I tried both ctrl-c ctrl-v and the ribbon... when it stops working it
stops in both ways (keyb./ribbon) and it *only* stops working within the
Word 2007 application because I tried ctrl-c ctrl-v in Notepad and other
apps and it works.

Today it seems to be working... i don't know for how long though...

Probably something due to the interaction between Word, DRM, Antivirus,
Antispyware, local rights, you-name-it.... the level of complexity of
Windows-PC technology based systems has become so mind-boggling that I
am very seriously considering buying a different computer system and
just forget about all of this...

I'm having the exact same problem. It is working just fine and then quits.
All patches installed from Microsoft Update (XP SP3, Office 2007 Pro Plus
SP1).

Also when trying to save (or word does an autosave), I get a Configuration
Process box that looks like it is re-installing word. As well I've noticed
in my event viewer I get a officelifeboathang error.

I did just notice there IS an update I haven't downloaded for Office ...
something to do with installing service packs as well as SP2, so I'll give
those a shot and post back with results.
