Past and Future Month "Blacked Out"

Hello,

Because I use desktopX to read my Outlook files, and always make
appointments ONLY on my PDA I've not opened Outlook for some time. (I've
Office XP for students and teachers, with all the updates), now the past
month and future month is solid BLACK for some reason, if I click on a day,
it will show me the date and if there is an appointment, but it's all still
black.

Now, I've not changed anything in the view, and I have both tried to
"repair" Outlook with the CD and also removed and reinstalled outlook, even
with fresh data files, and this still comes up with
way...HEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLPPP please :D

scheme?

Hmm, well, I've never done anything at all with the view? Grrr...LOL
I'm using one of the windows color schemes, and the only difference is my
desktop is black, but this shouldn't have anything to do with Outlook
Calendar? I've ne'er messed much with the views, cause I dont quite
understand them yet.

desktop theme is a black one or the wallpaper? Anyway, try using the default
windows theme with the gray color and see how it looks.

Ok, that worked, but my question is WHY did it work? The Desktop Color has
never before effected anything at all in Outlook, so something was to have
changed to tie it to window's system colors apparently...so how can I undo
that? (I prefer to have a black desktop LOL!

Without changing the rest of the Windows theme, set your Windows desktop
color to black. That shouldn't affect Outlook.
