1. Click "Start", and then click "Run".

2. In the "Open:" box, type "control userpasswords2" (without the quotes), and then click "OK".

3. In the dialog box that appears, check "Users must enter a user name and password to use this
computer" check box, and then click "Apply. Click the "Advanced" tab, click the "Advanced"
button, click "Users", in the right window, right-click your username, "Properties", and check
the box. "Password never expires", click "Apply", and "OK" your way out.

To add a password:
Click Start, Settings, Control Panel, User Accounts, click your account, click "Change my
password".
