But the OP can't set an ADMINISTRATOR password if he's not logged in as an
administrator, can he?

True enough, but the OP never claimed he couldn't log in as
Administrator, merely that he now wanted to set a password on the
account.

my administrator account is corrupt so can I swap the limited to a admin then
delete the corrupt account?
