You can get a software program called AIDA32 it is a
freeware program that will give you the keys on your
system.

Hi:

Thanks for the info, unfortinatly, this isn't quite what I
had in mind. I need to verify passowrds and access to a
system, with out changing the users passwords. I have
admin rights, but I am reluctant to go in and change
passwords, plus I need to record the CD Key's for
installed programs. Isn't there a reg. key or something
like that that holds this information?

No, you need a 3rd party application to read the keys and a different
3rd party application to read passwords.

On second look, it seems none will show the password but they will
allow you to reset the password.
When the password is reset, all encrypted data is normally permanently
lost and original password is gone:
