Can someone please tell me if I can set up a private
folder in outlook that other users can't access. At work
my boss has to allow people access to his email but there
are some he would prefer to be able to store that other
people can't see. Any help would be appreciated.

Michele

He can use a pst-file for this or set the correct permissions on the folder
that other users are not allowed to access. Rightclick the folder->
Properties-> tab Permissions and remove all permissions and set the Default
and Anonymous to <none>

Thanks for your reply. Can you tell me what a pst-file
is? Sorry to be a pain!

Regards

Michele

No problem!

A pst-file is a personal folders file. It allows you to store data on a
different location than on an Exchange server. Since he can place the
pst-file on his home directory or on his local disk and the fact that you
can't share data from within a pst-file is secure. He can create a new
pst-file by using File-> New-> Outlook Data File... or from within his
accounts overview; Tools-> Accounts
