Password

My PC, running windows XP, is asking for a password when I
turn it on. I never had this before this week and I have no
idea what that password might be.Help!

Is this coming up before the windows logon screen?

If it is this is a setting in the bios.
You can try to disable but most times you will need to
know the password to do that. Someone had to of set it.
Who else has access?
If you cant get past you will have to reload.
 
This may be simplistic, but have you tried just hitting
the "Enter" key at the password prompt?
