Password

I turned on my laptop and for the first time since I have
had it a screen that asks for a user password comes up.
I have never set this up and I am not sure why it is
asking me for a password. I am unable to do anything
with the computer since I have no idea what to type in
for a password. Any suggestions?

Have you tried a blank password.
Alternatively you can boot in safe mode and use a blank
password for Administrator, Then go to your user accounts
and remove the password from your account then reboot
normally.

Not 100% on these but give it a try.
