Password saving

I had this problem before and someone gave me a way to correct. My hard drive crashed now I need info again

Outlook 2002 will not keep my password saved for IMAP mail account. I am using XP. Can someone help
 
Review the articles below. They can pertain to differing versions of Outlook on Win2k and WinXP.

I have done what the article says but still no results. I think this is the option that worked last time but it is not working this time. Any other suggestions
