Password Required

My Personal.xls file requires a password to open/view Objects, Forms,
Modules, etc.

When I use the Record button on the toolbar for any non-Personal.xls
file, I am required to enter the password for my Personal.xls file,
and the recording is stored in the Personal.xls file.

This is something new for me, as the recordings were always stored in
the individual files.

Can someone explain why this is happening?
 
When you hit the Record Macro button or menu item you are given an option of
where to store the macro.

Personal Macro Workbook, This Workbook, New Workbook.

You choose where to store.

I also think you should remove the password to open from Personal.xls.
