I just upgraded a client's office. Their 3 Win98 machines
were replaced with Win XP Home and their Win2000 Pro
machine became a (dedicated) server. The 3 workstations are
set up identically. Two of them connect to the server
automatically just fine. The 3rd machine starts up with a
message saying that all network connections could not be
restored. Clicking on one of x'd out connections results in
a request for a password. Typing in the old password (which
has been removed from the machine!) makes everything work
fine. Why would this happen on only one machine and how
come that old password still works!?
